Very little ink for the cost

I first liked the printer. But when you have to replace the cartridges every time you turn around it becomes way to expensive I am stuck with it now but really disappointed in the ink levels. This printer uses so much ink

Runs out fast

The ink is fine, the printer is fine. It just does not last! Brother is sneaky to make it use colored ink even when printing only gray scale nearly all of the time. How am I even running out of colors I do not use and then the printer won;t print anything. Maybe my review should be against Brother's printer?

I don't normally do reviews but I was so impressed with this I just had to take a minuet and let potential "future" buyers know.
