Fairly complicated, not sure I will use it

I have Jaime's 5 Ingredients book and I love it. I was hoping this book would be similar. Unfortunately, I find this one a bit too complicated. It's set up so you pick a meal to make with a main dish, side, etc, and then it walks you through all the steps to make them at the same time so it's all done under 30 minutes. As a busy working mom, I thought this would be great, but unless you have all the ingredients and want all the items in a given meal for dinner, it's not going to work for you. Usually I will figure out what main meat I have and them look for a recipe for that, but with this book you can't just make one item without having to decipher which steps of the recipe pertain to just that item. If you are doing a dinner party or having friends over and want to pick out a meal and shop for that meal, this is a great resource. But if you are just trying to find a quick meal recipe for ingredients you have on hand, this book is probably not going to be your go-to recipe book.
