How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

5.0 out of 5 starsLots of twists in this one!!
Reviewed in the United States ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ on June 26, 2017
The continuing saga of Carlotta Wren and her brother Wes has been frustrating readers for years. Carlotta has gone from Peter to Cooper to Jack, and circumstances force her once again to focus on Peter. Wes has been in and out of so much trouble that it is nearing impossible to know where he stands at the present time. However he does have his eye on a girl, so seems to be trying to get out of his sinkhole!

Peter and Carlotta are trying to give their lost romance another shot, and have gone to Vegas. Wes has been invited as well, and he in turn invited friends Chance and Hanna. Peter has business to attend to and so does Carlotta; she has reason to believe her mother is in the area. With her father in the federal prison at home. she believes her mother has information to set him free.

A whirlwind of happenings including a dead body in the safe of Carlotta's closet bring Cooper and Jack to Las Vegas to try and figure out who the stalker is. Before long Wes is in trouble and his lawyer (and Jack's baby's mama) comes out as well. There are so many twists and turns that you simply have to read this book to believe it! It finally ties up some loose ends that have been niggling at readers for several books.

I loved this book and recommend it to anyone who has read the series! If you have never read the books in the series, you are in for a real treat! Also finishing this book will result in a satisfied sigh! Fortunately, Stephanie Bond has promised that this isn't the end of the series!!! She will return with new stories! YAY!!

3.0 out of 5 starsI enjoyed this book but the spark was missing....
Reviewed in the United States ๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ on April 3, 2017
I was very excited to get back to the gang and was happy have a wrap up of the mystery with the Wren parents as well as bring closure to other sub plots. What I felt was missing was the spark that makes The Body Movers series so special. I will read the next installment as soon as it is released but very much hope Carlotta and gang are back full force. I think there is an opening for a romance with Coop and the door is still open for Jack, even if it comes with baby attached. I look forward to see where book nine takes us.

5.0 out of 5 stars Waiting for book 9, please.

I've been eagerly waiting for this book for a long time and was delighted to finally see it available. First, it's short; about thirty percent shorter than a regular body movers book. I was so happy that it arrived that I read it immediately and at one sitting. I do agree with other reviewers that the story seems somewhat rushed and is missing some of the charm of the previous books. I haven't decided if that has more to do with the length of the book so the personalities of the characters didn't get a chance to shine or if the author was trying cram a lot of plot in to finish quickly. I'm glad I read it though and really want to see more books. I sincerely hope this isn't the last book because although many questions were answered, many more were raised. I think I speak for many others when I hope book 9 comes quickly and is given enough space to fully develop the story line. Don't misunderstand, this is a good book and worth reading, it just needs a follow-up to expand on the foundation that's been built. And for heaven's sake, someone smack Wesley on the head. He's the dumbest smart character I've ever run across.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great book by Stephanie Bond!

Another good book by Stephanie Bond. I missed this slew of characters. Also, I'm really happy that we finally got some answers after 8 books. I discovered this series a couple years ago and I've loved every book since. I love Carlotta's character - she just has such a personality on her. Of course, I'm always rooting for Jack Terry. There is just something about him that I love.

Spoiler ahead:

This book broke my heart when I realized that Jack and Carlotta wouldn't get together in this book. Carlotta gets engaged to Peter who is so wrong for her and Jack is with Liz who is having his baby. Like what?! Noooooo! We finally had Carlotta ready to realize that she loves Jack....*stomp foot*. Stephanie Bond definitely creates really good dialogue between these characters. It isn't forced. It seems natural. We definitely get a twist at the end. I was not expecting it - so it gives me hope for Carlotta & Jack :) :)

The only complaint about this book was that it certainly wasn't long enough! Now, I have to wait for another book!

5.0 out of 5 stars +10 points!

It really is hard to review a book that you're loyal to, objectivity can sometimes seem lost because you're falling in love with the characters. After reading this book I have an empty tissue box, A bruised heart in a good way because it will allow the story to keep unfolding and last but not least I have yet another great story complete with book hangover.

It's difficult to describe the story without spoilers. Carolotta continues on her journey of wanting to see her family back together the way it was before her mother and father flew the coop. Speaking of Coop and Jack and Peter also take part in this new adventure as well as Hannah and Westly and a few others.

It's worth your time to read this book, it's worth your money to read this book, and most of all questions are answered by the millions!

5.0 out of 5 stars Body Movers series: 8 Bodies is Enough is a great addition to the series

This newest addition to the Body Movers series is really good! I liked it better than the last couple. I assumed there would be 8 deaths and was happy that wasn't the case. Plus Wes was less annoying. Carlotta & friends all go to Las Vegas for different reasons. Carlotta & Peter just arrive and Carlotta finds a dead body that she recognizes. She calls Jack who brings Coop with him. Good old Wes gets in gambling trouble. I like Carlotta ' s reason for going to Vegas and how she goes about getting the answers she needs. I am Team Jack and really liked the ending even though Stephanie threw in a curve ball. Much better than book #7. Now I probably have to wait a year for book #9. Thanks Stephanie for a great book!!

5.0 out of 5 stars CLOSURE-- YES!!!

FINALLY we get some closure! I was getting very frustrated with the other books in this series that ended on a cliff-hanger and made you rush out and buy the next book (though I'm sure this is what Ms. Bond intended). She could have made each book a stand alone book leaving some loose ends (not cliff hangers) that would encourage readers to purc chase the next book rather than almost mandating this. Although I enjoyed reading about Carlotta, Wes et at, I prefer books that are self contained and can stand on their own. Nevertheless, I'm giving this book 5 stars because it was a good read and FINALLY gave the central plot some closure, although there were still a few loose ends for another book.

One thing you can count on is some kind of trouble. Some on the homefront and some at work. But you won't be disappointed. The characters who participate are just as important to the story. I recommend this whole series. If you need to laugh, you'll be able to do it.
