I’ve loved literally everything in the House of Night ‘world’. This book is not an exception in content, but in quality from the printing service chosen by the publisher. I’m quite disappointed. I have many of the original House of Night titles from when they were first released and they have withheld the test of time as I recently rediscovered them and my passion for reading again. I’m almost halfway through the book but the quality of the binding has left something to be desired. There are several pages hanging on by a corner and more that I have to take great care to make sure they don’t fall out as well. I’ve never had this problem with any book I’ve bought from Amazon. Literally the title page leading into chapter 1 (I just checked again) is completely removable. I’m such an avid reader that I didn’t want to hassle with trying to return it as damaged and then have to wait for the replacement to start the series. I just wanted others to be aware of potential problems with binding quality. I am in no way looking for a refund or replacement just writing this as an FYI for other book lovers. Please don’t let this discourage you.....I’ve checked the other 3 books in this particular series and none of the 3 have any loose pages at all.
