To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
This book has it all- brief biographies of many millionaires, step-by-step processes of how thinking can truly influence yourself (and ultimately the world), and thought provoking maxims. One of my favorite stories was about Oprah Winfrey, and how she didn't allow any negative experiences prevent her from achieving such an amazing career. Optimism, growth, and the desire to help people evolve through products or services are key themes in this book. The author delves into ways to expand capital, through financial services such as stocks, dividends, IPOs, etc., which were easy for a layman as myself to easily understand. The discussion of financial services to avoid was also informative. The quotes sprinkled throughout the book were pleasing, and it would be nice to read another book by this author.
I'm giving this book a five star review because it's easy to understand, succinct, and most of all because it's interesting.
I am a small business owner. Lately, I have been very frustrated, feeling like I am working hard but just barely treading water. I needed some sort of motivation to pull me out of my slump, and luckily I stumbled upon this book.
The author references several well-known millionaires, and explains how they made their way to the top. It makes you realize that most successful people aren't just given a spectacular life -- they've got to work hard for it. It was inspiring to read that many people started out in the same boat that I'm in -- someone who wants to be the owner of a flourishing business, but doesn't feel like things are moving quickly enough. The author offers many tips to help stay on the path to success, things I haven't even thought of, like specific marketing strategies. Reading and comparing myself to these wealthy folks and seeing that we share many common traits gives me the motivation I need to keep working hard.
The tax information and business structure advice were also useful. I also learned that I was doing a couple of things wrong, which I am now working on fixing.
If you're feeling like you need an extra push in running your own business, then this book will be very useful and motivating.
This is a fantastic book that uses specific examples to build upon the traits that we already possess. Stefan Cain helps you to understand that not every millionaire came from money they had to earn it the hard way. It motivating and even if you don't become a millionaire this book will help you build on your current strengths to become successful.
