I would have given this 5 stars except -every **** recipe- is followed by a big red sign that say "AREN'T YOU GLAD YOU DIDN'T DEEP FRY?". I am 3/4 through this cookbook and this is driving me nuts. 100+ recipies = 100+ times you have to see that stupid big RED ALL CAPS message.
EDIT: To be fair, not every recipe. I just got into the desserts and I don't see the BIG RED NOTE. So, just every recipe that might be a modification of a dish was was originally fried. Still, annoying.
On the plus side, the recipes are simple enough, varied and low sodium (Yes!) with enough gluten-free recipies to hopefully add some variety to my usual meals.
If you like pictures in your cookbooks so that you know what to expect from a finished recipe, only one recipe per chapter in this book is presented with a picture.
