Charges the controllers as described. However the description also says that red light means charging and green light means fully charged. That's not the case with my unit. One light ALWAYS shows red and the other ALWAYS green, regardless of whether I put a fully charged controller on the left or right charging dock, so you can't tell if it's fully charged or charging.
Also, it takes a little effort to plug the controllers into the dock and needs two hands to remove them. You have to hold the base while removing the controller or else it won't come off and 2 hands to place them correctly. Minor inconvenience, but bothersome.
