They are falling apart
Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2018
My mom taught me “if you have nothing good to say keep your mouth shut.” But since some people may be buying these things, I think she’ll be ok with me expressing my dissatisfaction with these pouches.
I bought these thinking “I’ll try these Amazon Basics products and see how good they are.” Never again. Look at the pictures. Except for one of these pouches, they have been extremely lightly used only twice and during both instances for less than four hours and already they are falling apart. For two of the pouches, the only use they had was when I put the lens in before the trip, then take the lens out after the trip. The sewn seams are failing along the neoprene on two of them and the crown is fraying on one of them.
The good news is, I tested the water resistancy of them by putting my hand in one, and submerging 1/3 of the pouch in water. It took a good 5 minutes before water penetrated the interior. So the material really is “water resistant”.
If the build quality was better, I’d say these were good pouches. They’re big enough to cover my lenses and the biggest makes a nice “soft case” for my Osmo2. But since they’re falling apart after so little use, I can’t recommend them.
