Are you a college student? Do you ever get migraines caused by lack of sleep? Do you ever wake up with cricks in your joints because you deliberately slept on the floor so it would be uncomfortable enough for you to be motivated to get up after only 3 hours that night? Do you have killer menstrual cramps but still need to hike around campus looking for a printer that's working? Are your wrists aching from typing so much in a non-ergonomic position because you only have a laptop instead of a proper keyboard and desk setup? WELL THEN THESE ARE FOR YOU! With 500 pills, this is an excellent buy. If you ration it out with yourself, you may even have a few left to share during the semester with friends! Plus, if anyone doubts how hard you're working, this provides an excellent visual example to show them how much of your health you're sacrificing for the sake of education– and if that doesn't work, you can just throw the thing at them to get them to shut up. And to top it all off, it gets delivered right to you, so you don't need to plead with one of your friends who has a car to drive you to the store and/or pay exorbitant prices buying it from the campus bookstore. I can't recommend this enough to my fellow students

Naproxen Sodium is the same as Aleve, with the same active ingredient, except it is less expensive than Aleve. I have had lower backaches, muscle cramps and joint pain for years and always used Aleve because it worked better for me over products like Aspirin, Advil or Ibuprofen. Last year, I discovered Naproxen thru my health insurance plan and found that it was every bit as efficient as Aleve. My insurance plan has changed and now no longer covers OTC products so I am back to buying pain relievers out of pocket. For me, I will buy Naproxen Sodium over Aleve every time. For the best price, the higher the count (bulk) should always bring the lowest cost per count but also, only buy as many as you might use before the expiration date. I received my bottle on May 3, 2018 and it has an expiration date of Nov, 2019.

These work great and a great price. It said they were coated, which they are, but not with a shiny coating. I thought they would have a shiny coating like the name brand ones. We are able to use them, but for my elderly mother, the shiny coated ones are easier to swallow

Hard to open bottle

The Amazon Basics bottle has one of those line up the arrows, then push hard with your thumb to flip the cap open lids. This is fine when awake, but when I get up in the middle of the night with back pain, it's a struggle to get open while half asleep. Screw tops are much preferred. Even those where you have to push down while twisting are much easier to open without risk of the cap and/or contents going in several directions at once. The product works fine, but getting to it could be much easier.

Okay but not as effective in strength as Advil

Not as effective as the name branded Advil. But much cheaper to buy in price. These look identical to the Equate generic in every way as well as the lack of potency to Advil. However these might reach the same effectiveness as Advil if taking one pill or 2 more. I have not tried to increase the number of pills as I use the product as directed.

Difficult lid

The product is fine... just as expected. However, the packaging has changed, and now has a fussy cap that must be lined up with one hard-to-see white-on-white arrow in order to open the bottle. This is too much to ask for those of us with aging eyes. I had saved the old bottle of ibuprofen, and transferred the pills to this bottle, which has a push-and-turn twist top. Much easier!

bad bottle cap

The product is standard ibuprofen the same as Kirkland, but the bottle cap must be aligned with an almost invisible mark on the bottle neck. This is useful if you have young children who might try to open the bottle without adult supervision. The Kirkland bottle top requires some pressure to be applied in twisting the top so may be difficult for small children, but easier for adults, especially those with bad eyesight.

The lid is a bit of a hassle, I think the arrow to notch line up was made in a rush by the machine for the bottle I have. All and all, this is generic Advil, does the job well.
