Great undershirts, not t-shirts

I had the older version of these and I liked them enough that I figured Id order some new ones and finally toss the old ones.

Like others have stated, these are thin, thinner than the original design. However, they are made just as well. I have washed them over and over, and so far there is no shrinking or pilling or threads coming out.

What I really like about these is that because they are thin, they feel like they arent there under my dress shirts. And these are great for warmer weather. I will definitely purchase these again.

Cheapened versions of the originals

Hanes apparently changed the manufacturing composition of these X-TEMP shirts as their now 60% rayon and 40 polyester....totally cheapened. Hopefully you can tell how see through the low and no cotton versions are. Their partly see-through now...very disappointing. They used to be 60% cotton (made in Haiti version) and 95% cotton (made in India version) before that.

My 30 year old son wears white T shirts all the time. He sent me this link when I asked him what type he wanted for Christmas. I thought $20.00 was a little pricey for simple white T Shirts but he said these are the only ones he will wear these days. They are nice. They're thick but not hot on a warm day and they are made well. They're good for under clothes and as just plan white T's with jeans. They wash well and don't shrink much at all. They are definitely better quality than the cheaper ones I buy at mass market stores and the price isn't really that bad at $19.99 for five. My son's T's always look crisp and bright and are not at all see through. I will repurchase these for my kid when another gift giving occasion comes up. Or just whenever. :)

Let me tell you......I’ve gone through a lot of undershirts. A LOT. And these are by far my all time favorites. I’m a Police Officer and wear a ballistic vest every day. These make my day much more comfortable. They are extremely comfortable. They stretch as you move and you never feel a thing. They wick sweat away better than any other I’ve worn. You can wash and dry them 100’s of times and they stay in great shape. I gave nothing bad to say about them.

Better than cotton

I've been using Hanes 100% cotton white undershirts for many years, but I thought I'd buy a pack of these instead once my cotton ones started to get ragged and yellow.

I find that these rayon/polyester shirts are so much more lightweight, soft, stretchy and comfortable as an undershirt.
I immediately bought a second 5 pack and threw out my cotton shirts with zero regrets.

I really appreciate how they included an easy to see blue stripe across the back of the shirt's neck hole. I never have to guess what's front and what's back when putting these shirts on in the dark.
The fit is a little unusual, I'm typically a 2XL cotton undershirt wearer, but I bought these new shirts in XL and have not had any issues with the fit. I imagine a 2XL of these would be too roomy for even me.

I've washed mine once and haven't noticed any shrinkage or damage so far.

These shirts are awesome and feel great! Being from the south I can definitely feel the difference during those 100 degree days. However, I'd like to address other comments on here. First, the best way to make a shirt cooler is to use less material, i.e. making it thinner, plus using different material. Cotton is an insulator so why would you use more of it?? The other thing I saw was that they wrinkle easily. These are UNDERSHIRTS and should not be visible to anyone. So the wrinklegate argument is moot. You shouldn't be wearing solid white shirts in public anyways. Its underwear guys.

I'm the type of person that likes to wear undershirts over my polos, tee's, and buttoned down shirts. So when my wife and I went to Italy and Greece... we knew the temps were going to be high. I already had some 32 degree shirts from Costco in Black & Gray but needed some white undershirts that were not thick like the ones I already had. That's where these shirts came in and I'm glad I purchased them. The temps in Italy & Greece hovered over 90+ degrees. All the walking and sightseeing made these shirts a blessing. If it got too hot, I'd take off my other shirt and just walk around with these on. They were light, comfortable, and kept me cool when a breeze would come through. I've never had the previous version of this shirt so I cannot compare. However, they are a see-thru but I didn't really care for that. I don't know how long these will last but they've been through several washes and are holding their size and color pretty well.

This is one of 3 "4 packs" of T shirts I purchased advertised as moisture wicking micro-fiber all ordered from the same line - just different colors. One was exactly what was described (this one - the white color) - one was a cotton blend that was not what was ordered, but still really nice (dark grey color) - and one was plain 100% heavy cotton (wine colored). I will wear all three - so I kept them - but for someone looking for the very nice soft microfiber moisture wicking t-shirt described - be very careful which one you order because not all of them are what the advertising describes.

If you are a fan of lightweight shirts and like the feel of not having a sweaty shirt on all day, then you will like these. 6’4” at 280 a 2X fits great. They are long and cover plumbers crack. They are cool and are comfortable doing yard work in the summer. They would be perfect under shirts as well. I bought medium size for my son and they are true to size.

Nice lightweight tee shirt

These tee shirts have a silky feeling rather than cotton. My husband likes them. I wish the neck band was more substantial however. We live in Arizona and the heat is hot and humid now because of the monsoons. So the lightweight tee shirt is much welcomed. Will have to wait and see how they hold up. I did think there were a little over priced, however. My husband winter tee shirts, make by another very reputable company, have a better, sturdier neck band and they wash great and last year after year.

These shirts t-shirts are not only very comfortable, but there is a blue strip inside the back of the collar that makes it incredibly easy to tell if they're inside out or backwards.

Most t-shirts these days are tagless, which makes this difficult to tell after the printed are inevitably fades. You won't have that problem with these!
