I have the collections of "... Meets..." books and the Batman '66 and Wonder Woman '77 collections, and all are very interesting and well written, really catching the tone of all TV the series. The only one of these series which has nice artwork is the Wonder Woman'77 series.
Actual artwork is pretty poor and cartoony in the Batman '66 stories which are not crossovers, the artwork looks at best to be something which Mad Magazine used to do in their parody's of comics and movies. The artwork all looks like the artist had no time to do anything but an initial drawing, and then turn that over to a colorist. The only one of these series which has nice artwork is the Wonder Woman'77 series..
I'm used to good, even beautiful artwork from the comic books of the 1960's and 1970's, and the artwork in these new crossover books continually took me out of the story experience as I so often noticed how poor the artwork was.
