Good series dealing with archeological mystery with a dash of occult, science fiction, adventure, and a good dose of humor. The characters are fun, the plots are good with a continuing focus on an evil organization bent on world domination. Nasty villains who often get what's coming to them. Well written, easy to follow, a great way to while away some time with an adventure.

good reading but all the books appear to be using very similar story lines to another authors series, its almost like reading the same stories under different names, needs some originality, CC is the better writer and his are original.

A word to the wary, the violence in these stories gets a bit too detailed for our taste unlike the first set we read.

I just finished sets 1 and 2 and one Bones story. I started reading the Dane Maddock adventures about 3 weeks ago, and I couldn't put it down. The stories are fun, exciting, thrilling, thought provoking... With a bit of humor and intrigue thrown in to male a wild ride. I love the exotic locations and the history that is laced in the books too. I always stop and look up where they are so I have a visual reference. I can't recommend David Wood's books enough.... I have truly enjoyed each and every one. Starting on The Ark tonight!
