This actually isn't bad... Well... If you're a fan of this franchise and are cringing to watch, afraid they've made another B.... Ok not B... More like an F version sequel again. .. . This actually isn't too bad!

Bad movie sequel

They make most of the characters play roles which are that they do stupid things so many times which cause the death of others for being too caring about a doll which seems to be suspicious of the murder of the victims;that cause the movie looks disappointed and has extended unnecessary scenes.I never understand what role Dr Foley plays in that movie,if he is antagonist or protagonist;in the other hand,if he does that in purpose,bringing the doll to the patient to try to manipulate her.I don't know if he really knows that the doll is real and kills people or he doesn't because there is no evidence of that in the movie.I don't know why a concept like that is included in the movie which is when Madeleine breastfeeds chucky in front of the nurse while the door's opened,but the nurse does'n surprise about that,asks question and doesn't respond at all.

My least favorite of the series. Mental hospital cast and set looked way too cliche and unrealistic (nurses don't still wear skirts and hats, do they?), and the duplicating Chucky dolls idea takes away from the scariness of one doll. Not sure what Andy's role in the whole movie was either.

Chucky movies should’ve ended with Child’s Play 1, but the toy business still makes a lot of money, so here we have it; the seventh episode of the "show", which now follows the old-school horror-sequel titling Of Frankenstein and the like. But Cult is one of the worst Chucky movies yet.

The problem isn’t the doll; his humor is the flick’s one genuine source of entertainment; it’s the hackneyed storytelling of writer and director Don Mancini. There are some cool kills and sexy undertones, but the plot; the setting of which is a psychiatric hospital; is all over the place.

Huge fan of Chucky and all of his movies, even the generally not liked Bride and Seed. I jumped at the cult because Curse was so good and enjoyable. I was disappointed.
The story seems likes it’s trying to be clever with multiple Chuckys and bringing Andy back into it but it didn’t work for me.
It’s basic fun so there’s that element but if you wanted a movie on the level of Curse this won’t deliver. It’s your basic 80s style slasher with some funny moments but overall it wears itself thin too quickly. By the end I was like “wait, who or what hell is Chucky even possessing now?”
It tried to be fun but it tried to be smart as well which, on this occasion, didn’t work.
It was also cringeworthy watching Brads daughter try to be Chucky at the end, to the point of copying the laugh. Maybe I am biased but it wasn’t good in my opinion and she didn’t seem to be Chucky, more of a tougher version of herself. It ruined the ending more for me and I got rid of the movie soon after.
Good for a watch with friends probably, or to complete the collection but ignore youre just curious I would real the plot online and just save yourself watching it.

I love the Chucky Movies and have all 6 movies before this, I would give them between 5 to 4 star but this only two star. I find it very hard to understand and put any sense to the story compared to the other Chucky movies. The original lad who was spooked by Chucky as Chucky's head in a safe, he brings it out and torture it and meanwhile in a mental hospital Chucky is complete in another doll, not only that by the end there are 3 Chucky's where one manages put his spirit into a cripple woman giving her powers to walk, the film is long to get started and once it does it is to late for any real horror, to me the most boring Chucky out of the Chucky series of films to me a flop compared to the other Chucky's which please don't watch this one first and ruin the others because the other six films are good.

Ein reines Wirrwarr beschreibt es am besten...gelangweilite Story wenn es überhaupt eine Story gibt.Viel Blut und Gemetzel gibt es nicht ...denke mit dem Film ist Chucky endgültig gestorben !
