Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
It's Show and Tell Dexter! has been formatted to be read in landscape mode (holding your device horizontally), where it takes up the entire screen. Words and pictures display together on the screen like a traditional picture book open to two pages. A lot of self published Kindle authors can't be bothered to format their work and it displays like a mess with bits of text on one page and an image on a small part of the screen on another, so I always like to take the time to point out when authors care about their reader's experience and their own work enough to take the time to format it.
It's a fun read, about a dinosaur toy who knows its kid best friend is going to be taking it to show and tell and is worried it won't do a good performance so tries to become things it is not or emulate others it thinks will be cooler, of course not realising it being what it is is what makes the kid want to take it to school in the first place. This is the second book in a series, I haven't read the first and had no problem understanding it, it's like a standalone read.
My son (named Jack! ^_^) is 5 and mostly non verbal but he absolutely loves these 3 books and wants me to read them every night before bed, where he sings the red parts to me! I wish there were more Dexter T Rexter books!
Told from the perspective of a favorite toy being taken to show and tell, this is a cute story showing a dinosaur worrying over nothing. Well, nothing to an adult, but to a child, or a favorite toy, show and tell us a big deal.
I don't have any kids, and don't have much experience buying kids books for my nephews, but I loved the first book so much myself (seriously, they are hilarious and adorable for adults) that I bought a copy for my nephew, who now carries it EVERYWHERE, asking anyone he can to read it. So when I saw there was a sequel I bought it immediately, and it's every bit as adorable. I can't even wait to go visit him again. He's going to crazy :)
