Ridiculously heavy for a baby toy
Reviewed in the United States on October 4, 2018
I was really excited to have stumbled on these sensory balls to replace the other ones we have made of unsafe plastic. These sounded great- silicone/nontoxic, easy to clean in dishwasher, have chimes, and texture to feel and chew on. However, after receiving and playing for just 5 min, my 8 month old can barely pick one ball up one handed. And if she drops it on her leg, or even face if she were laying down, it would definitely hurt or scare her! Previous reviews did not emphasize exactly how heavy they were- a little heavier than a softball in a smaller package. Even having chimes, the weight doesn't seem reasonable for this type of toy, let alone for the age it was meant for. If I wanted her to lift weights and gain strength, these would be great... BUT she's a baby just learning coordination?! So bummed, especially as they aren't free returns, I was relying on reviews to purchase. Well, here is one to save you the trouble...
