Jamie and Molly.
I really enjoyed reading this story.
They both have insecurities. Him being blind and her having had breast cancer and a double mastectomy.

They both push each other buttons. They feel the magnetic pull and sparks fly.

Her ex is a problem.

Enjoy these characters!

I keep reading these books because I really like these characters. This book is no exception. Jamie and Molly each feel broken when they meet each other and an attraction forms all while Molly’s ex stalks her. I also keep reading these books because I’m entertained by the crazy mistakes. I’m not sure who is doing the writing - a person, multiple people, or a computer. In her first appearance, the housekeeper’s name is Elly. In the next two books, it’s Ellie. In this book, it’s back to Elly. How does this happen? Also, whenJamie goes to Molly’s studio with the lilacs, he has to text her that he’s arrived so she can let him in. A chapter or so later, he asks for her number and then texts her so she has his. If he texted her at the studio, wouldn’t they already have each other’s numbers??? 🙄

Although I felt the story was written very well, I would like to see more that would tie the story to themes of the family. Maybe there is more coming later that flushes them together and ties more challenges to the individual stories.

This is the first book I’ve read in this series. Overall I liked it very much. I felt that Jamie and Molly were pulled together by their imperfections. But, while I liked Molly, I sometimes felt she was sending Jamie mixed signals. It may have just been insecurities, though. And I was a little miffed that Molly kept doubting Jamie’s abilities to defend himself. She more or less was saying he was helpless, where there was nothing in his character that made him come off weak. I did love when they finally came together and declared that they cared for one another, or rather Molly finally admitted she had feelings for Jamie. There again it may have been insecurities. My one wish would be that there’d be another book that would tell how Jamie and Molly end up. Do they get married and have kids? Do they live a happy life? I’ve read through the other books previews and it seems that a lot of the characters have their stories wrapped up, so I hope the author will do the same with Jamie and Molly.would love to see how their story plays out!

As usual April Wilson delivers yet another well written book with diverse characters who are dealing with their own body issues. As a person who is rarely represented in books (being an African woman:) I really appreciated why the author thought it was important to tell the story of a breast cancer survivor and how she finds love with what she perceives as her limitations.

I gave it a four star rating as I thought the ex
husband situation was resolved rather quickly and felt very rushed. As if we really needed to finish the book in a hurry.

I would definitely recommend this book to fans of sweet romances and characters that just need someone to believe in them!

I love how the heroine in this story takes strength on her own character. She isn’t strong or can fight with fists but is strong in her beliefs and protecting herself and others. Wish the heroines fought back against their bullies but it’s true that bullies are harder to fight!

I enjoyed Jamie and Molly's story of two imperfect people finding their perfect matches. Gus, the seeing eye dog, isn't perfect, either. However, even with the characters' imperfections, the story is pretty light - even the bad guy has a good reason for being bad.

I loved this book. Jamie is a favorite of mine and I adore Molly's character. Molly's ex is a total douche. This book is a great representation of two peoples journey to healing and maybe finding love along the way. Imperfect makes the list of my top favorites in the series. I highly recommend reading. This book can be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading the series in order.

Molly got her breast removed because she had cancer. Her husband decided to find someone else to start sleeping with. She divorced him after he broke up with the other woman and Molly has her divorce for a year her ex decides he wants her back. Jamie is blind and he moves upstairs where Molly lives. Both feel a connection but Molly tries to keep away because she thinks her ex will hurt Jamie, but he refuses.Jamie ask her to go with him to his brothers wedding. Her ex is choking her when Jamie and friends discover it. He ex breaks in her apartment and Jamie saves her

I have to admit that I completely skipped over the first few books in this series because I don't particularly enjoy romance stories that span several novels. That said, I'm happy that I picked up Imperfect.

The characters' imperfections are what make them a perfect pairing. Jamie is a former Navy Seal who lost his sight in a severe explosion while serving his country. Frustrated by his family hovering, Jamie moves out to live on his own. It is clear, though, that Jamie is still a lethal and dangerous man despite his injuries. Above all else, Jamie is a protector, which becomes more evident as he gets closer to Molly.

Molly is strong in her own right out of a toxic relationship and dealing with her own injuries from a life-threatening disease. She's spent the last 12 months rebuilding her life as a single woman, all while dealing with an obsessive ex-husband. Molly has an inner strength that never wavers, which defiantly made this a good read. It was also my most significant source of displeasure with this book.

Despite continual proof that Jamie was more than capable of taking care of himself, both his family and Molly always try to make his life easier. I won't go into Jamie's family here. But with Molly, this manifests in a push and pull between the couple that I just couldn't enjoy. Molly would get close to Jamie, and something would remind her of her obsessive ex, and she would pull away.

This happened so often that there came the point where I almost couldn't stand the character. Especially since Molly's reasoning was always that she wanted to 'protect Jamie' even though Jamie has shown that he was more than capable. It showed Molly's lack of faith in Jamie’s skills and capabilities I didn’t enjoy.

This book is a lovely light afternoon read. I read and reviewed this as a standalone and not as a part of the larger series. I'm not sure if I'll be reading any more of this series, but I'll defiantly be more from April Wilson.
