Great Deal Compared to Every Other Cryptocurrency Seed Storage

This is the recovery seed storage to get. Follow their tutorial with a 3 to 5 pound steel mallet, not a carpenter’s hammer. Hit the punch one time really hard and you’ll get a nice, deep letter. Don’t hit it several times softly. Punch will move around. Make sure you get it in the right spot in the correct orientation, then give it a good solid whack.
Do not buy “CryptoSteel” seed storage or any steel seed storage product. Steel corrodes easier than titanium, yes even stainless steel, and titanium has a higher melting point (depending on alloy).
But more importantly, CryptoSteel does not provide permanent seed storage because it is composed of multiple pieces that you have to assemble and lock in place with screws. If it gets damaged/crushed and falls apart, or if it accidentally gets opened and the letters fall out, you’re screwed! You just scrambled your seed. Good luck remembering the words!
The only good way to use metal seed storage is to use a hammer and letter punches to punch the letters into a titanium plate. Acid etching is not good enough. What if your house burns down? Soot or other residue may obscure the etching. You may be able to clean it and make it legible again, but I wouldn’t count on it. I would only use a punch to imprint the seed on the titanium plate.
Remember, CryptoSteel is like 6x the price of ColdTI, and it does not provide adequate security against edge cases, like those I’ve mentioned. Buy smart!
