Useless in less than a year of light use, seller is obnoxious
Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2018
EDITED TO ADD: I’ve been very gentle with these head phones and have not used them frequently. Nonetheless, they haven’t held up at all. The charger port for the micro usb side of the charger is loose/the charging cable falls out. They regularly disconnect from blue tooth for no reason. They don’t hold a long charge. And the audio cable for when not using blue tooth doesn’t work at all. Crackly and mostly silent. So in my opinion these headphones are JUNK. They do not last. Rip off.
Also, the seller continues to spam me with unsolicited messages saying they want to "help" but offering no solutions. It's so obnoxious. Zero stars.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: Adequate, but I was hoping for more
It's only been a few days, but so far I like these headphones for the price. They work well and the sound quality is good. Downsides: They are truly huge. The size of the case is INTENSE. And it's fine. I mean, it protects the headphones well, but it also sort of defeats the purpose of having a folding headset to begin with. It's not like you're going to save space in your bag. There are a few other things I'm not crazy about: When you turn the headphones on or off, and voice announces it through the speakers. This is jarring and often quite loud and annoying. I think it would be fine as an option for accessibility purposes, but I would prefer a silent way to see if the headphones are going on/off. Another issue, I can't get the FM radio to work. It goes on, but the headset seems perpetually set on scanning for stations, and I can't get it to stop on one, even if the signal seems clear. It just pauses for a moment, then moves on to more scanning. Now, it's very possible that I'm doing something wrong here, but there was no manual or instructions in the package, so I have no way to check. (That's another weakness. No manual. There are only a handful of buttons, so it's fine, but still, since the functionality isn't proving perfectly intuitive, a manual would have been nice.) Still, I don't really care about the radio feature, so it's not a huge problem for me.
The headphones connected easily enough to my new tablet, and for that purpose, have been working fine. I found they seem to work well until I get about 10 feet away from the device, and then the signal gets choppy, which is more than fine. In terms of looks, the black case is pretty ugly, and the headphones themselves, though advertised as "gold" are a lot closer to taupe/brown.
All this said, for the price, these are perfectly adequate.
