I loved Alec and Cordelia’s story. I loved that they were both so open and honest with each other. I loved that Alec was so caring and nurturing of his siblings. My only quibble is that he could do all that he did starting at such a young age. That would have sat better with me if his mother had died when he was 10 rather than when he was 5. However that was not a real problem just a quibble. I will definitely read more books by this author.

This is the first time I've read this author. The book started out with promise, but I gave up at about page 210 and jumped to about 300. What I don't like is to have the H have sex with the h and then push her away. I think this was done 3-4 times within a short period of time. This really turns me off and I lose respect for the h. Also, didn’t anyone think it was strange that William performed the wedding? I knew he was an artist and carpenter, but I didn’t know he was a marriage officiant. I'm unsure if I will read any more from this author.

Another Sullivan home run. As much as you would think you would get tired of this family. Bella Andre provides a beautiful story that makes you what to read and the close net group.

I really love this story and how it can together. I did get tired of her always willing to be there. Really thought she should she could’ve had another love interest who she saw solely as friend or could have been scouting other locations for her new business venture.

I was a bit bored with this book and found the story lacking depth. Alec and Cordelia fall in love at first sight which really isn't portrayed very believeably. A very easy read, predictable story, just not worth the time or money.

Alec Sullivan is mourning the loss of his friend and business partner. Things get complicated when he learns his partner has a daughter no one new about and he’s left her everything. Alec is the eternal playboy. He never hooks up with anyone who doesn’t know the score. When it’s over, they get to pick their parting gift. Alec is scarred from his parents’ relationship. He raised his siblings and still feels responsible for them.

Cordelia Langley is happy with her life. She was adopted and raised by two loving, supportive parents. She owns a garden center, her own home and makes a decent living. She is shocked to discover her biological father was a billionaire who only lived 30 minutes from her. Feeling overwhelmed by her sudden windfall, she can’t wait to sell her half to Alec and get on with her life.

By the time these two figured it out, I had rolled my eyes at them a few times. He whined a bit too much for my tastes. Her attitude towards Alec in the beginning was irritating and I found it hard to like her. Definitely not my favorite of the series. Still, a quick, easy read.
