Wow great book, highly recommend

I highly recommend picking the book up if you are reading the reviews for a deciding factor. The book is great value at 740 pages. However the book does not feel long, the pacing of the book is incredible and does not ever seem to drag. The book is well written and descriptive. If you are looking for a great litrpg book, this has great battles, Good boss battles great town development, politics and intrigue and crafting plus more.

PS. I thought at one point we were going to have our MC caft armor for his pet. Not sure it brings anything to the
story, but I like the puma and don't want him to get hurt haha.
Also I wish we found more treasure or opened chests. This is just personal but I enjoy the excitement of finding treasure.

Poorly Written, long and pretty slow.

I enjoyed the first book. But after reading awaken online, It did feel like a children's book. But it was decent enough for me to continue.. The 2nd book flopped and was not even a continuation. So finally the 3rd book. Its so long...so much dribble about "yo Lyr', whats up"...i think that quote is in the book probably at least 1,000 times...its so repetitive. All the details you want to hear are instead drowned out by the boring details of what the daily routine is...35% through and I just could not read anymore.

In page length, this book is long; however, as I was reading I lost track of time being so immersed in the book. It was an enjoyable read and kept me wanting to know what happened next.

While the 3rd book in the series, this book picks up after book 1 and revisits the characters readers became attached to in that first book.

The worldbuilding is wonderful. I thoroughly enjoyed learning more about the world - both the game world and the hints of the 'real' world we were given in ways characters acted and reacted. The stats and character building is fun without bogging down the reader. It's nice watching characters stumble and work to better themselves - it's not all immediate successes. And the conversations? Great, great fun.

The story continues from the previous 2 and maintains great progression, city building, and adds a new component to ever growing world of AsO. If you have read the previous 2 books this one is definately worth reading. The story is great, Amaranth continues to be awesome and I was as engaged and immersed with book 3 as I was in Book 1 and 2. Highly recommend this series!

Not sure what evolution the main character is headed for, but can't wait to see, even as every step forward seems almost a step back. sooner or later he will stop being a magical handicap right? right? I mean who writes a fantasy novel in a magical world and doesn't give the MC magic? I mean why?
