Commander's Message to the Galaxy...
Reviewed in the United States on February 23, 2018
Triumphs and Tragedies abound in this installment of the Galaxy's Edge Series. The Legion has had enough of the Republic Government on their eventual march to ruin. As the Black Fleet makes its way to conquer and remake the galaxy into an Imperial image, forces in and around the Republic drive major forces into all out war.
This book is an homage to the men and women who have battled through impossible odds with gallantry and heroism. As Captain Chuun and his Kill Team wait for Wraith to secure means to facilitate a rescue of his crew, the galaxy erupts into all out war. The battlefield descriptions in this book are intense and you can feel the consequences when they happen. It is not hard to see the real world and the battles we've fought against a real enemy represented in the epic heroism and sacrifice of the "reborn" legion, as well as the despicable ideology of the Zhee.
There is a scene in this book that had me on the verge of tears while the ending saw me stand up and issue a "Hell yeah!" For those out there who have walked through mud, blood, and loss, all so others could know freedom, this is the book that celebrates such honor. Jason Anspach and Nick Cole, "Didn't forget nothin..." Thanks boys... KTF.
