This collection of books is genuinely worth it's weight in gold. Honestly, each and every one of the books in this collection is a masterpiece in and of itself. Neville Goddard was truly someone who had a tremendously deep and clear understanding of how Imagination does indeed Create Reality, and he had a remarkable ability to translate that clarity and understanding into extremely accessible, usable and inspiring words, ideas and concepts.
Any one of the 10 books in this volume "The Complete Reader" can be one of the most valuable tools anyone could ever have for the purpose of deliberately shaping their lives and Earthly experiences into what they want. I mean that most sincerely. I have read them over and over again, and will continue to do so for the rest of my life. Neville's soul and honest intentions to be of service to his fellow human beings shines through every paragraph, and his profound confidence and optimism come through in every sentence. Clearly, Neville Goddard LIVED the philosophy that Imagination is literally God in Action, and that whenever one says "I Am", that's God. Not only are countless examples of using his techniques and ideas given and demonstrated, as are countless examples from the lives of others, but anyone astute enough to really feel the being that Neville was while reading his books and listening to his lectures can easily tell that his confidence and experiential knowledge were exceeded only by his sincerity.
I have personally been working with the principles and specific techniques Neville offers in these beautifully written gems in this collection, and can testify that if one truly applies the principles and techniques, with genuine sincerity and a real willingness to believe (even and especially in the power of belief itself), that one can indeed have great success in creating the life that they want - not only for themselves, but for others as well. There is considerable repetition of the basic principles and truths in these books, but that is a very good thing indeed. One can never revisit the truth enough, when the truth is that you, your awareness of being, your imagination, your "I Am", is literally God itself. And sprinkled liberally through the repetition and reiterations (which often have subtle, very important additional details) of these truths are additional, phenomenally powerful concepts and practical applications of the concepts, any one of which is worth the price of this book.
For example: How many of us have ever stopped to consider that what we think of other people literally shapes our experience of them, and also literally has an impact on who that person is and how they express themselves? How many of us are open minded enough to even contemplate that our impressions of others actually help to create behaviors and character traits in those others? Even among some of the best and most honest metaphysical and spiritual teachers out there (and believe me, I've studied many of the greats over many decades), very few of them step into this kind of territory. Can it be that by using feeling and imagination and belief that we can affect someone outside of ourselves, in direct opposition to what most societies and cultures believe and espouse? The answer, according to Neville (and me) is categorically Yes. Can we have a better experience of someone who we previously have had only unpleasant or negative experiences with, by changing our internal dialogue, imaginal visions and expectations regarding him or her? Indeed we can, and I have proven it multiple times by applying Neville's unparalleled wisdom. A couple of quotes from Neville in this regard: "Others only echo that which we whisper to them in secret" (from https://freeneville.com/mental-diets-transcript-free-neville-goddard/ among other places, including these books), and (paraphrasing this one): Don't rob others of their ability to be all they can be by thinking small of them.
I could go on and on. But I have already shared so much. I may add to this review later, but meanwhile, here is a poem I wrote on New Year's Eve of 2016, after studying and applying Neville's work for about 5 or 6 months. It is called I Resolve. I am still doing my level best to apply this wisdom every day, and will do so forever. Any comments would be very welcome.
I Resolve written December 31st 2016 by James Galusha
I Resolve
To make better use of my imagination and to be available to help others do the same
To remember that my consciousness is God and that physical life is a school for image making
To walk in gratitude with every step and in that gratitude reclaim my status as the Creator
To imagine great things about other people and sustain my focus on who and what they would like to be
To remember not to identify with states I am in and to master moving from one state to another
I Resolve
To be aware that everywhere I go people show me who I am
To remember that the entire world is myself pushed out
To notice that everything I see and hear mirrors and illustrates to me the good use or misuse of my imagination
To consistently and passionately invite the God within me to awaken fully and completely
To reactivate my ability to create exactly what I desire in life by sustaining the memory of imaginal power as God
I Resolve
To cooperate with the process of The One Being awakening from its' self imposed amnesia
To choose noble thoughts and actions and by example inspire others to take the high road within and without
To feed and nurture the beautiful impulses within me by dwelling on them and in them
To always remember that I have the capacity to believe things into being and to use that capacity for Good
To listen when the voice within me says "I Am God" and to overcome the habit of invalidating that idea
I Resolve
To use all of my senses as vividly as possible to clothe the assumption and feeling of my wishes already fulfilled
To rise above the habit of giving away my power to anything outside of myself by remembering it is ALL Within
To never let the sun set on my anger
To focus on lovely things and on my goals and ideals as already realized as I drift off to sleep each night
To remember that the mouth of God is the mind of Man
I Resolve
To believe in the power of belief itself and to overcome all habits contrary to this most fundamental truth
To use my imagination and faith to create paradise by shaping the clay of my consciousness into that image
To help others to Enter the Kingdom by walking in the assumption that their desires for ascension are fulfilled
To recognize that there is only one Being playing all the roles and that holographically we are ALL that one Being
To see God behind each and every mask on each and every player on the stage in this play called LIFE
I Resolve
To Create Heaven on Earth by Believing It Into Existence
