Pretty good set.

I just got these this Saturday, but we bought the larger skillet by itself 3 months ago which encouraged this purchase. We had a $250 calphalon set we got for our wedding and after time, the nonstick surface started flaking off in food and it was gross. We didn't notice the problem with the Red Copper pan because it's copper infused nonstick. We seasoned the pans as per the instructions, and periodically they can be reseasoned to return them to their initial nonstick slick surface. These seem to perform much better than my calphalon set ever did. We have a gas stove and my old set used to heat food unevenly. I've been using the Red Copper set all weekend and food cooks evenly and is difficult to burn. Sometimes sauces still do stick to the surface a bit even after seasoning, but it cleans up pretty easy with soap and water. I like the Red outside because one thing I've noticed about other copper brands is the pots aren't coated on the outside and tarnish. That won't be a problem with these. I only have 4 star because they don't 100% perform as advertised, but after putting in 5 years with a nonstick set that has 5 star reviews online and I've been disappointed in it, I'm convinced that a pan is about as good as the type of stove you cook on and what kind of cook you are. These work for us and I hope we will have no problems with them. If you're worried about it, I suggest buying the big fry pan at Wal-Mart first to test it since it doesn't come with this set, and then consider this set.
Update: have had the set for a year. Still love it. I use only bamboo utensils. Have been performing excellently. Perfect heat distribution every time and no burnt bottom food. I moved and have an electric stove and they perform just as well.
