I got this on a trip heading to Damascus Virginia. This was not as detailed as I was hoping. Its more like a journal of what they though.I was hoping it had places it recommended to stay along the AT but it didn't really mention much of that at all. I still enjoyed reading this even though it was not what I needed. Hince the 3 stars instead of 1. A good stocking stuffer idea for anyone you know that enjoys hiking or wants to hike the AT one day. But they will most def need a book with more detailed information and not just this one alone.
