Redemption Removes One's Sslf-Doubt

Emma Prince knows how to tell a story! Robert the Bruce sends Garrick and Burke Sinclair on an information gathering mission to the Borderlands. These two individuals are as different as night and day when it comes to personalities-- Garrick, the almost sullen introverted warrior and Burke -- the smooth talker and charmer. On the journey to Dunbraes Garrick nearly runs overs maiden, Jossalyn Warren, as they near the town. The incident is important because she vouched for the two warriors when Jossalyn took them to the blacksmith where they found work. Jossalyn, sister of Raef Warren, wants to get away from her brother. Her brother does not want her to use her healing skills. More importantly, he is a vicious, self-centered and dangerous man. How desperate was Jossalyn to get away? She hid in the wagon when the Sinclairs left for the Highlands. The story includes a cat and mouse game between Raef and the Hughland Bodyguard. The ending is a positive one that beautifully ties together a beautiful story of love, adventure, and minds that see some of their adversaries in a very different light.
