There is no select button
Reviewed in the United States on September 17, 2019
Ease of use 1 star:
1) there is no select button, making many apps (e.g. Google Cardboard) useless because you cannot control them. You have to take the phone out of the holder to operate it (or get a Bluetooth controller). Even the much simpler Google Cardboard VR has a button.
2) The clamp that holds the phone in the holder has a firm spring but still was not able to hold my phone stable in place. The clamp was made of hard slippery plastic. It did bend a little bit and pushed my phone away from the holder. My phone wiggled and was slightly tilted. Some anti-slip on the plastic clamps could have prevented this.
3) The lens adjustments were all at the extreme positions to get the best picture. I had the feeling this was still not the optimal position (this could be a problem of my eyes). The lens adjusters where also not that stable. In some positions they were really loose.
3 stars for how the product looks and comfort. The product looks cool, like a real VR and is also comfortable to wear.
