delivered in a timely fashion. The case is well constructed with sufficient padding to protect the battery from vibrations. Moreover, it was roomy enough that I was able to install a DC disconnect switch. I will be a repeat customer.
The price is right for the power of the battery. I could not find a similar high-amperage (20 ah) battery for the price at this time (July, 2020). However, the battery does NOT come with a Battery Management System, unlike what's written in some of the reviews. I opened the sealed box, and found another sealed box inside, and that box appears to be solid. There are only two leads (red and black) to tap the power, and nothing to attach a charger. I have tried to contact the seller, and it's been about a month without a reply. It appears I've been the victim of a smooth bait-and-switch scam, where I relied on information in the apparent reviews and not on any claims made by the manufacturer. I will not be buying any more items from Eco-Worthy, not even their BMS which they obviously sell separately. Nor will I lodge any formal claim on Eco-Worthy, since their scam relied on my trust in their reviews. Nice price for a 12V 20ah battery, though, while it lasted.
Built-in BMS is a real plus at this price level, eliminates a lot of pointless meta-work dealing with charging needs.
Bench testing of battery w/instruments confirms specs, functionality of BMS.
For the project I'm working on (solar wireless data transmission) I added 8W of heater pads tapped directly from PV, thermal snap switch to battery allow charging in winter. This might be a nice factory option to add.
