This story surpassed my expectations. After reading Aaron I was not expecting to fall I love with Josh so much. His loving protection of Kay just had me swooning through the entire story. Can’t wait to continue the series!

Kayla Reyes had run away from Joshua Townsend, only to find her way back running from something else. Only this time Joshua won’t let Kayla go.

This one was okay. I’m enjoying the Townsend brothers and the subplots, but this one still took me a while to get through. That being said, I understand that it was a messy situation.

If you like a second chance romance, and men who won’t allow a slight against their women, this book is for you.

Wow, I thought I had all Ms Patterson series I don’t know how I missed out on this. The only thing I can think 🤔 must’ve came out the year I got divorced, no it was even worse it was the year after my mom passed. I’m playing catch up it’s 2022.
Getting the wholes series and everyone in it, can’t wait to read Ty story, then Sandra’s, next Conner’s then his brother Mark. It will be a fabulous read for me.
Kayla situation made me cry, I know that feeling, but the way her man Josh handle it had we want one of those Alpha Males too.

Loved the easy flow of the story line. I sensed the chemistry between the main characters and loved the twists & turns of the problems faced in Josh's business life this added more depth to the story. What I disliked was too much sex. I feel like if you gathered up all the sex scenes it was about a chapters worth. Way too much detail. What happened to two people in love with each other and just entering a bedroom & closing the door?. Your audience aren't kids why not leave us to exercise our own imaginations sometime. It makes the books far more readable than sex, sex, and more sex. At times I asked myself how did he or she even function outside of the bed?. Good author, great writing just tweak it down with the sex please. All great writing doesn't begin & end in the bedroom or pregnancy.

kay when they finally allowed themselves to totally drop their walls. This story shows how people handle grief differently, especially when one of the grievants is in love with the other. My heart just burst with tears when Chelsea managed to make her presence known on Kay and Josh's special day. Everyone but the couple knew they would end up together. It was so funny how even Kay's parents had an on going bet about how it would go down. Kay showed Josh how to love again. He'd always loved her in more ways than one since he was twelve years old and was mad as hell when she left taking his heart with her. But he was so glad she came back so they could have their HEA, just like Chelsea knew they would.
