So Far So Good, But Kinda Sketchy
Reviewed in the United States on June 3, 2020
I didn’t get the packaging shown on the listings pictures. I got what I would call the old style. The package says they’re the correct battery. I’m using one, so far, in the remote for my air conditioner. As far as I can tell it works just fine.
The date on the package is 2019, so they should be good for a few more years assuming everything is legit. Some other people have probably got expired batteries, which is why they’re not lasting very long.
I don’t know if it’s normal for the lettering on the back of the packs to be smeared and inconsistent. There’s at the very least a chance these are counterfeit Energizer batteries, although I can’t say with any certainty.
I will edit this review if I have any trouble with my batteries. If you’re reading this several months after the date this review was posted, you can assume these batteries are fine. Although, to be fair, even weak batteries will probably work for the entire summer in my AC remote.
