Nicely done story that made care about the characters and I want to know what happens to them in the future. Especially the daughter Sage. It's not often that someone writes a precocious teen without them being bratty. This story fits in nicely with a Nocturne Falls series.
The plot was basic at best, no substance to characters, they just weren't believe. Little to no interaction with nocturne falls itself.
Can't say there was anything I really liked about this book, what I disliked all of above mentioned, also when I read a book I expext to be taken to thr place I read about, not stuck in a kitchen the entire time planning menu can do that in my own home. No adventures or real struggle happening.
Would I recommend to others No save your money and dtick eith Kristen painter.
I didn't really like or dislike this book. The pacing felt too fast. While the hero and heroine have a history before the book, it still felt abrupt. The ending resolved everything in a neat bow, but again, was just too short and not well enough developed.
This felt like it dragged way too long. When we finally get to the end i was confused about what was going on. What was the contract and what did it mean? How was somebody else able to sign the contract and free her? Wouldn't somebody still need to be reaped? Nothing was explained in the end at all.
