To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
For a language-learning book, you would expect the grammar to be perfect. Unfortunately, it is very poor and makes the whole story nonsensical. Even if you ignore the grammar, it is hard to see past the strange scenarios we find ourselves in when looking for a dragon. For instance, we search for the dragon at the dentist, but she is not there because: "No, she does not have a toothache?" (note the pointless question mark) and "She is not sick, too". Why would you go to the dentist when you are sick? Neither the German or English storyline makes sense. I won't even read this to my 4 month old. Although he likes the illustrations, he is as perplexed by the writing as I am.
