4.0 out of 5 stars I love their durability and price point
Reviewed in the United States on February 20, 2018

I have been ordering Amazon Sensitive Wipes for a few years now. I love their durability and price point, and of course that a large box can be delivered to my doorstep. I love that the Amazon sensitive wipes are in a large package, they are unscented (but truly unscented), durable (my finger never pokes through), easy to get out of the package without wasting too many wipes, and finally that my sensitive skinned baby has no issues with these wipes.

I received various packages of baby wipes when I had my last baby and so I wanted to do a comparison. I compared the following wipes: Amazon Sensitive, Honest Company, Pampers Sensitive, and Up&Up Unscented. (NOTE: I only compared these four wipe brands, but have tried Kirkland (Costco), Huggies, and Up&Up Sensitive in the past).

Size:
Honest: 7.1x8in
Amazon: 6.75x7.9in
Up&Up: 7.375x7in
Pampers: 7x6.8in
- These are in size order, Honest Wipes being the largest and the Pampers being the smallest.

Wetness:
I used the first wipe from each package, folded in half, and put onto a piece of construction paper, I then pressed down firmly for 10 second. I found that the Amazon wipes and the Honest wipes had the most moisture.

Durability:
I pulled on the wipes, stretching them. The Amazon and Honest wipes stretched the least where the Pampers and Up&Up wipes would stretch a lot. I also did the “finger” test where I wrapped the wipe around my finger and pulled, the wipes that seemed to be the most durable (and not show wear around my finger nail) were the Amazon and Honest wipes. The Up&Up and Pampers wipes did stretch and get thinner around the stress point of my finger nail.

Texture:
The feel and texture of the wipes is where Pampers and Up&Up clearly win. Both Pampers and Up&Up are very soft and cloth-like and smooth. They are not scratchy or rough. The Honest and Amazon wipes are both very textured and while they are soft they are no where near as soft as the Pampers and Up&Up wipes.

Overall:
Biggest: Honest and Amazon
Wet: Amazon and Honest
Durable: Honest and Amazon
Texture: Pampers and Up&Up
- Pampers and Up & Up are the softest wipes I compared; however, I will continue to buy Amazon Sensitive because durability and wetness are also important factors for me to choose a baby wipe.

NOTE: I did not test the smell, ingredients, and exact products (I.e., all “Sensitive” wipes) (although all are “hypoallergenic”).

1.0 out of 5 stars Was a faithful user, until I tried them myself!
Reviewed in the United States on July 1, 2018

I’ve been using the wipes from amazon for a while now (over a year, on and off with pampers and honest wipes.) I thought they were amazing, great quality, great price, extremely convenient with subscribe and save. Two weeks ago, I would have given these wipes 12 stars, I loved them so much. Recently, we’ve only been using these wipes (normally I switch back and forth from pampers and honest) and with prolonged use I noticed that my daughter would start to cry anytime a diaper change was brought up and the whole way through diaper time and we thought it might just be a phase. One day I ran out of the bathroom wipes, so I grabbed a pack of her wipes, these Amazon sensitive wipes, I felt a terrible stinging sensation, similar to the time that I accidentally used the alcohol pad instead of the wipe. I now feel terrible that I’ve been using these on my daughter and immediately threw them away, since we started using only honest and pampers pure wipes exclusively, she is not fussy during diaper change time. I highly discourage you from using these wipes on your kids. Maybe I got a bad batch, but if you are using these it’s worth trying them yourself.

3.0 out of 5 stars Costco Kirkland wipes gets the job done with less wipes than Amazon brand Sensitive baby wipes
Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2018
Verified Purchase
BOTTOM LINE:
Costco Kirkland wipes are bigger and stronger and get the job done with fewer wipes than Amazon brand Sensitive baby wipes.

SIZE:
Each individual Wipe Dimensions:
Amazon Sensitive Wipes Dimensions: 6.75" x 7.9"
Costco Kirkland Brand Wipe Dimensions: 7.1" x 8"

COUNT + COST:
Costco Kirkland wipes come in a box of 9 x 100 count Soft Packs with Fliptop lids on each for around $20. (Around $0.022/wipe before taxes or shipping fees, if any. Prices shown on 8/22/2018)
Amazon Sensitive wipes come in a box of 9 x 80 count Soft Packs with Fliptop lids on each for around $17. (roughly $0.023/wipe before taxes or shipping fees, if any. Prices shown on 8/22/2018)

FRAGRANCE FREE:
Both wipes are advertised as "Fragrance Free"
Costco Kirkland Wipes advertise: Aloe & Chamomile, Hypoallergenic, No Chlorine, No Alcohol, No Dyes, Parabens or Phthalates.
Amazon Wipes advertise: Purified water, Chamomile, Fragrance-free, dye-free, alcohol-free
No parabens, phthalates, bronopol, methylisothiazolinone.

SOFTNESS:
Amazon Sensitive wipes are a tad softer than Kirkland brand; marketed by Amazon as made out of polyester, viscose, and polypropylene. Costco Kirkland wipes are advertised to be made with Tencel, which makes them a little stronger, more cloth-like in my opinion - helpful during big or messy poops!

SUMMARY:
Wipes need to be a balance of being strong enough to get the job done, yet soft enough to be comfortable for the baby, allowing for repeated use. Although Amazon wipes are a tad softer, I find I'm using fewer wipes per diaper change with Costco Kirkland wipes. Efficiency is important to me - the fewer wipes I need to use per diaper change, means the faster I get done changing the diaper, and the less time my baby spends on the changing table. A plus for busy parents!

Off label use - I want to note that when I caught a cold and my nose was running, I started using these Amazon wipes on my nose and face. And because they're softer than Costco wipes and not too wet, they actually work great at keeping my nose comfortable through multiple wipes. Further, the Amazon wipes didn't make my sensitive face break out!

5.0 out of 5 stars I’m a Repeat Buyer for Several Reasons
Reviewed in the United States on July 20, 2018
Verified Purchase
I am a repeat buyer of the Amazon Elements Baby Wipes. I am past my baby days. My household uses these as bathroom wipes. Yes, we’ve tried specific “grown up” brands. Frankly, I’m sold on these. They are a great value. You get quite a large box, equating to nearly 3000 wipes for a bit more than $10.00. As on all Amazon products the price varies from day to day. Keep an eye on it. If you do better at subscribing to items you need regularly, do so. It’s a good way to save extra money. You will get them at a discount no matter what price they are. It’s super easy to cancel or change the timing in subscriptions too. With Amazon Prime I have never paid shipping, and it has taken two business days, tops, for delivery. So far I have established these are a bargain, as well convenient.

Next, without diving too much into bathroom details, these do the trick. They are sturdy and are of a good size. If you dig deeper into my reviews I tried a popular flushable (these are NOT flushable) brand geared specifically for adults. They were terrible! They literally shredded into little bits as you tried to use them. You don’t worry about that happening with these. They are strong. If they are strong enough for adult body parts, then by all means they are strong enough for baby parts. Now for sensitive skin and whatnot. I have a bladder disease: interstitial cystitis. I have the rare kind. In short, I have a lot of bleeding ulcers in my bladder that expose raw nerves to the bladder’s acidic contents. Not fun. Everything constantly burns. Anything I bathe with or like-products can be a landmine. Yet, I can tolerate these. So, if you have sensitive skin or your infant does, as do most babies, these likely will fit the bill for your household. In summary: convenient, cheap, strong, a lot of them for your money and works well with sensitive skin. I’d go ahead and give them a try!

5.0 out of 5 stars My bf and I are very adamant "adult" wipe users and are pretty concerned about butt cleanliness
Reviewed in the United States on October 30, 2017
Verified Purchase
October 14th, 2018 EDIT:
It appears my review may be misconstrued. Nowhere in my review did I say that we flush these. I never flush any wipes down the toilet, even those crappy Cotonelle ones when we used them. Indeed they are not safe to flush down the toilet. As a kid we weren't allowed to do that and I never have in my life. Heed the recommendation on the Amazon package (do not flush). I was strictly speaking about the reasons I switched to this brand (size and quality).

So let me preface this by saying I do not have a child and I have not been a baby for 3 decades. My bf and I are very adamant "adult" wipe users and are pretty concerned about butt cleanliness.
So I had bought Cottonelle fresh care wipes a few times. I'm pretty sure the scent and maybe a few ingredients on those were the source of a pretty powerful butt irritation. It struck me when searching for another brand of wipe...duh! Why do we even need to use "adult" ones anyway? They serve the same purpose and in fact I would argue the "adult" wipe should really be more adult sized. I mean really, the size of those Cottonelles I'm sure would even have parents laughing at even attempting to use on their baby let alone a normal sized person. It would be like using a single toothbrush to clean an entire toilet bowl.
That's when I looked at the reviews on these amazon wipes and a few others, ordered these and after about a month am now happy to report to you that our butts are way clean. In all seriousness, they don't rip when you're taking them out of the package and you can fold them over a few times for multiple swipes which is more than I can say for Cottonelle. Do yourself a favor and switch to these, the price is fantastic and I think you'll dig it.

I loved these! They aren't as wet as some others and are a great value. However, the sensitive ones gave my little one a rash on his bum. I thought it was diaper rash until I used a wipe on his face after using it on his hands during a solid food feeding and it left a horrible rash 😣

1.0 out of 5 stars They burn!
Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2019
Size: 80 Count (Pack of 9)Verified Purchase
My daughter was born on 01/04, I bought these for her but we ran out of toilet paper one night and I used one.. worst mistake I've ever made. I burned for two hours. I did not have a natural birth, I had a C-section. I would never use these on a baby, or a child. I don't know what would cause the burning. My boyfriend even tested them and said they made him burn.
