How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

I don't usually write reviews but I felt I wanted to let people know about this book.

I've been trying to change things in my life and create new habits countless times on my own (start exercising regularly, eat healthier, not procrastinate and so on) but I always fail in the end. I always feel super excited when I start out and manage to do the things I set out to do for about a week or so and then, for some reason, fail, feel useless and quit.

Reading this book and using the work sheet (which you get for free by signing up to a newsletter, which in itself is very helpful too) has helped me get a good start with my new habits. I am now a lot more confident that I'll be able to keep what I've promised myself and make my habits "stick". Thanks to this book I now know how to handle the inevitable setback too so I'm not even worried about those anymore.

The book is very easy to read and it's, just as someone else pointed out, very action-oriented with clear steps to help you get started and create habits that stay with you in the long run.

I'm very happy I found this book and I highly recommend it if you want help getting rid of bad habits or create new ones.

Written for the simple laymen with good guidance ,however to implement the process of a new habit better be prepared to spend more time implementing the process and trying to track it than actually executing the habit .process overly complex not impressed - May be good if you have mega time on your hands to implement overly complex process

I read a lot of inspirational/selfish books. They motivate me, some more than others. This book definitely falls into the "more" category. It is well-written, practical and genuinely helpful. If you are trying to kick k your ice into gear, check this out. It offers clear advice and a real blueprint for transformation.

First sorry, i dont speak english well... I have read a lot of books about habits but only this one changed my behavior. Its very short and very practical, with rational and easy advices. Most than a book, its a strategy to change, step by step. But every word is supported by the best findings of science. And even best, the book is really cheap.

Patrik Eblad's "The Habit Blueprint" is a very good book. My life is habit-centric. I have over 33,000 daily habits checkins in the habit tracking application I use. I know a lot about habits. I wrote over 120 answers on that topic on Quora.
And I tell you this book is GOOD.

For the start, I really cannot find any weak spot in it, which is uncommon, to say the least.
I don't like a science based approach. I think all too often people replace science with its new dogmas with religion trusting it blindly to solve their problems. Science can also by wrong for long time, especially when we talk about human behaviors. For example willpower research for decade or two was off the mark.
But Patrik doesn't blindly quote research and say it's the unerring oracle of truth. It's enough to read his approach to the question: "How long it takes to create a habit?” to notice his approach has a lot of common sense as well.

The book is very succinct and to the point. Zero BS and hogwash.
Despite the very meager size it covers all the aspects of habit development: how to start, how long to keep, how to monitor, etc. I'm impressed by the ideal balance between covering all that is necessary and brevity of the advice.
For science nerds the book in more than its 20% contains references to articles and research.

I'm a habit coach and I advise people on habits all the time. From now on this book will be my recommendation for beginners. It's an ideal tool if you have very little idea about creating good habits and would like to get educated fast.

I just finished reading The Habit Blueprint and I am very impressed. Having read dozens of books on self improvement, I found The Habit Blueprint one of the most refreshing I have studied in many years. Finally some new ideas about how to form worthwhile and meaningful habits. Patrik Edblad introduces some specific ideas in an easy way to understand and apply.

Some useful strategies here. Sure, some of these are pretty obvious, but seeing them clearly explained motivated me to make some positive changes.
