Golden Chains picks up from the shocking ending from book one. One thing though, don't count Etta out. She is tough and will find a way to persevere.
I loved this installment. Any lingering questions I had from book one gets answered as the author delved deeper into the explanation behind the curse. And emotions? My emotions were all over the place with this book. I pitied, hated, and loved Alex. How is that even possible? I even loved and hated Etta. Their story is twisted and certainly not an easy one clear up to the end of this book. Oh, that ending!
M. Lynn has created a fantastic world which leaves me drooling for book 3! I'm glad the wait isn't long.
