I wanted to like this book

I wanted to like this book, but it fell short for me. I was hoping for some fresh, original ideas in the realm of frugality. Unfortunately, I found little to none of that in this book. To echo another reviewer: there is nothing here that hasn't been said before (ad nauseum in some cases). Some of the tips in this book include washing your clothes in cold instead hot water, air dry all laundry, buy cloth diapers, make and follow a budget, cut cable, buy secondhand, cook from scratch, reduce and eliminate debt, make your own cleaning supplies, find a lucrative side hustle, and so on.
A few things I liked: I did like the size and layout of the book. The action points at the end of each tip would be useful to someone new to frugal living. The author's recommendation for watching or reading Dave Ramsey is good advice.
Buy this book if: 1.) You've never, ever read anything about frugal living and you're looking for some place to start; or 2.) You are a follower/supporter of Ms. Odom's brand and want to support her.
If you've ever read The Tightwad Gazette or Dave Ramsey's book(s), you can probably leave this book behind.
