Good Book! Really Influenced Me

This book is not about sophisticated modern details of finances.

It is instead, about universal principles that would apply no matter what era or economy one finds oneself in.

The parables are memorable, and illustrate eternal truths. Within two days of getting this book I had completely re-arranged my financial life, am making amazing progress on managing debts, savings and investments... not that the book has any especially sophisticated advice... but that is it's strength, really... its simplicity. You will discover on your own how to apply them to your particular situation.

It didn't really tell me anything I didn't already know (and you will likely have the same experience) but the WAY that it is told, somehow really grabbed me and got me to re-arrange my thinking... and energized me to get off my duff and make REAL changes.

Can't recommend highly enough.

I had my four sons read this as teenagers and had them start saving ten percent of all they made, they are middle age men now having service in the military and their careers now after serving are successful. They laugh that since their teen years they have saved ten percent and let it grow. For my grandsons birthday I gave him a copy of The Richest Man in Babylon telling him this was the most important gift I could give him, he has read it and was amazed that no one had told or made him aware of this knowledge.
