Predictable but enjoyable!

I'm a graduate student, so definitely not the young adult target audience of this book, but I enjoyed it thoroughly. Perfect light, summer, beach reading to get in the mood for the royal wedding. A bit of a predictable plot line (definitely no major twists and some giant cliches), but still nice. Reminds me a lot of the book "The Royal We" by Heather Cocks. Actually, I enjoyed The Royal We better, but there's no reason to not read both, especially for fans of the royals.

I liked it but it could have been so much better! It was a little slow moving especially with the romance part of it. I felt it was then rushed at the end to get them together. I mean Daisy and Monters really didn't spend that much time together and I felt like due to that the ending didn't really fit. Ellie was just a total and complete brat for pretty much the whole book and it didn't make sense to me that everyone just kept bowing down to her and making sure everything was perfect for her. I wish someone had stood up to her and to the queen even just a little. I mean yeah I get it, they are royals and get what they want but still. I also didn't like the twist at the end with Seb and Ellie, again, it just didn't fit. Overall a little disappointed but still a fun read.

I LOVED EVERY FREAKING MINUTE OF THIS BOOK OMG. It was SO much fun, and I was laughing on every page! It reminded me of the Jessica Darling series (which I loved) with some Princess Diaries (a classic) thrown in. I’m both devastated I’m done reading it and SO AMAZINGLY HAPPY there will be a sequel! I may have to reread it multiple times before the next one comes out. There’s no question I’ll be rereading it, though! I absolutely must relive all those amazingly humorous lines! I think this has to be my favorite book I’ve read so far this year.

I really enjoyed this book, it was a book that had a romance, but the main romance was Daisy's (the sister of the bride) which I really thought was amazing. I went into this book thinking that the main character would be about the girl who )is getting married to the prince, but in actuality, it's the sister's turn and I loved it! Daisy is so relatable and doesn't change who she is even when she's in the presence of royalty. Highly recommend! (Sorry I suck at summaries)

I like Daisy. I think her character is cleverly written. She is level headed, witty, and intentionally not spiteful. I also appreciate the Winters family dynamics. Beyond that, most of the personalities felt like caricatures.

There were repeated presented themes that are unrealistically mature for the supposed ages of the characters.

Aditionally, this book reads like a first draft. There are so MANY examples of poor structure and usage that it was painful.

Royals is the perfect summer read; especially with all of the hullabaloo with the recent Prince Harry and Meghan nuptials. A small town girl, Daisy, finds herself immersed into the world of a Royal Family when her sister is betrothed to a Prince. Daisy is really outspoken and snarky and is thrust into a completely foreign world. Along the way she learns a lot about herself and her family while navigating shenanigans with a few royal adjacent lads. I cannot wait for Royals 2!

Next thing I knew she had a book and I spent way too much money. Overall wouldn't recommend ordering things drunk on amazon but the book was good apparently so 5 stars! for you!

Thoroughly enjoyed it. The format, articles, etc.. gave it a real feel. Daisy, the main character, was delightful and witty. I wish we'd had more of her father though, especially since she has his sense of humor. It's a quick but fun read. Can't wait to find out more about this family.
