It's not quite... a Minka Lesk novel. It's more of a Cadian novel that features Minka in a... almost deuteragonist role. While she is the single character that features the most, the story is not really about her. She is as much a protagonist as much as Ned Stark was the protagonist of a Game of Thrones. Important character, essential to the story and her development is quite the sight to see, but not the way Talos Valcoran is the protagonist of the Night Lords trilogy. It's a good read, with only a few bumps in the way of pacing and phrasing.
Incidentally, this is the first time I can recall in which a guy's balls are kicked in the Warhammer 40K universe, and that has to count for something.
