Nice to have the gist of the files in book form...

I have just finished the book. I ordered it as soon as it came out as I thought it was a great idea of someone to go through the files and put the important stuff into a narrative that was quick and easy to read. I do have the files on my computer but it so very much to weed through that I can't imagine who has the time to go through it all --- only the most die- hard fan, I imagine. I am a fan and I do think something untoward happened to Prince (even if it were by his own hand, a suicide, which is my personal opinion) but certainly there are people in his circle who are hiding what they know and maybe even worse. I'm surprised that the author has received so much backlash about the book. I didn't find anything disrespectful and I found a lot of things that I hadn't yet come across in the files. I see there was a hot thread about the book on the Prince.org which has since been removed, so I suppose he's hit a nerve with this book. At least he's trying to get to the bottom of what really happened instead of these other cash-grab books coming out (Not all of them, just some) Anyway, I enjoyed the book and appreciate someone having the idea to put the files together in a way that's easy to go through. I saw that someone said he "cherry-picked," his information. Well, yeah, he had to --- There was so much to trudge through and it seems to me that he put in the book the things that were the most important and pertinent to the investigation. Don't be mad because he thought of it first.
