The story will take place at the Rawhide Ranch, run by Master Derek. It is Christmas time and they are going to need a Santa for the Christmas party when they reach out to Master Jared. Erika, who works in the office for Derek is close friends with Jared. While Erika secretly harbors feelings for him, she is flabbergasted in his presence.

What happens when things are happening that Erika was in charge of and she gets into trouble? Erika feels like she is a disappointment to Derek and the trust he has placed in her. Is there a group of naughty elves causing problems? Will Erika get over her shyness with Jared? Maybe she can just tell Santa what she wants.

“Sit down and tell Santa your Christmas wish.”

The story was one of fourteen novellas featured in Mischief Under the Mistletoe Anthology from 2017.

In this Christmas story, wee see the burgeoning relationship between Erika and Jared. Ericka (as far as I can tell, and mind, I haven't read but one other book in the series) isn't a little, but she is training to be a submissive. She works as an assistant directly with Derek, who is in charge of the ranch.

Sadie, who is Derek's wife/lg, is interfering like a boss. She has decided that Erika and Jared belong together (because they like each other but haven't admitted it), and she sets out to make sure they connect. The way she does it, though, is through her typical bratty behavior, and she ends up getting Erika in all kinds of trouble.

This story was cute, and I enjoyed seeing Erika get a HEA.

Jared receives a call from Master Derek about coming out to Rawhide Ranch for Christmas and to play Santa Claus.
Now, Erika is Dereks secretary/assistant and had always had a crush on Jared and he has noticed her everytime he visits the ranch.
Now Sadie is playing match maker with Jared and Erika even though she has been told not to play match maker with anyone again.
Sadie has been doing and undoing Erikas normal work routine but does not realize that she is being punished for each prank pulled.
I was just surprised by who was all involved with the pranks.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I have.

I did read the whole story, and liked it, overall. It just made me cry too much. I felt so bad for everything that was going wrong for Erika, and that she was being punished for things that weren't her doing. I like Little stories to lean more toward the nurturing aspect of a Little/Big relationship, but I'm still glad I gave this book a try.
