Its a genre smashup, that isn't a total failure

We have a world of fantasy and magic that manages to go LitRPG not with someone from Earth, but with a general from the army of the main king in this universe. The kingdom's top wizard has somehow created a cut off area of the world where there are LitRPG rules and scoring. The general is sent there as "punishment", but of course he's going to fight back.
And it runs into some of the usual LitRPG problems. The problems are stupidly big and overblown with huge fights breaking out that somehow leave the hero and his closest companions alive (if not completely unwounded.). there are others who quickly side with the hero and he gets the usual bevy of beautiful and sexy women who aren't just capable in some way (2 wizards, 1 archer), but who want him in bed as often as possible (and if another girl joins, so much the merrier.)
Its' a teenage virgin's fantasy in many ways.
Its not terrible, the writing is good, and the main character actually has a personality. But it just doesn't stand out as anything special. it's a LitRPG that uses the genre smashup to try to avoid people pointing out that there is nothing new to make it different from the 200+ other LitRPG tales available.
