(hinting at spoilers) So this book was a little hard for me to review. Every chapter has a rallying speech which can get tedious. The sex scenes lacked intimacy to me for the most part and seemed to just be thrown into the book as romance filler. Rohan got a tattoo removed in less than a week which isn't possible and was able to get a new one added without having to have it covered for a while. Personally if I got a voicemail from my dead girl friend I would have called back but he doesn't he just shows up. Also I personally would have liked to get a real proposal out of him instead of ending the book with them just being boyfriend and girlfriend with significant tattoos but that's just me. Also the whole fake out near the end was a little unconvincing. One moment Nava is freaking out because the plan isn't working out and the next she was apart of it the whole time minus the surprise of being taken early? Maybe it was just me though and honestly 90% off the book is done in a way where the reader doesn't know what Nava is thinking because the author wants to surprise us with the story line but it leaves us feeling like we aren't in Nava head so it makes it hard to be in the moment with her. Glad things worked out in the end.

The story was slow there was a lot of time jumping as if the author herself wasn't even interested in what was going on. There was a lot of poorly in quick scenes that didn't have the same emotion as the last couple books did. Not to mention this particular book seemed to be a glorified smutt book. Overall I wasn't impressed with it, it felt like Debra was bored of her own story and just trying to end it so that she could move on to something else. There was no more character gross there were no more character development there was no feeling behind most of what was happening. I'm very disappointment considering all of her other books have been so fantastic

We have come to the end of Nava's story and I am so sad to no longer be in her world, but I was not left feeling like anything was left hanging....well of course would always love an epilogue that shows a little bit of what they are up to in the future but when you are so invested and in love with characters from a story you always want more and never want to let them go ;) This book ended the series with a bang full of action, suspense, humor, love, triumph, and growth in friendships, romantic relations, and most importantly individual growth.....so so much growth from Book 1. Nava is no longer the self-centered girl anymore but a women who is confident in herself, and thinks more about how her actions affect those that are around her and love her. She accepts love and support from her friends and if she makes mistakes she owns them and grows from them. And then there is her and Snowflake....Swoon! They have both grown so much together and I love how they have learned to talk and communicate and be the pillar of strength for each other that they both need and yes they still have major steamy chemistry, but are so much more than that....they make each other better and stronger. Overall an amazing series that I will definitely be rereading again and again :)

BURN, BABY BURN.....What an AMAZING end (to the Nava and Rohan portion of this world), and I loved the ending. No longer at odds with how each other’s powers affect their relationship, at least Nava and Rohan are “on the same page” throughout the book. Thank goodness they are, bc they are fighting against the biggest of their bad guys, while also trying to bring together several factions which have previously not worked well together, to say the least. Once again, it’s a roller coaster ride that you won’t want to put down until the last page. I will warn you now - don’t start reading this book at night, bc you won’t get much sleep (unless you are a very fast reader). This series has always blended current times, mixed perfectly with ancient beings and prophecies into a seamless story that keeps you wanting more, more, more. The ending is especially wonderful, bc it jumps out of nowhere and creates the happiest of endings for the people we love best. Run to get this book.

So sad that this is the last book in Nava's story because this series is absolutely one of my most favorite (and I read a LOT of books) and book 6, like the last 5, does not disappoint! Burn brings a lot of the story lines to a satisfying conclusion, although I am happy that Leonie is getting her own book as well because I'm just not ready to leave Nava's world quite yet! I loved seeing Nava's evolution throughout the series. The fantastic dialog, story lines and character interactions made it nearly impossible to put any of the books in this series down and I will miss being a part of Nava & Ro's world!

The sweeping conclusion to this series is bittersweet. I love Nava and Rohan. The epic battle for the world is all that you can imagine. Demons, magic, possession, death and destruction. And snark, lots of snarky dialog to lighten the drama. This is one series that I was sad to see end. We get that awesome HEA though. Well done babyslay. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This series is probably one of the coolest series I have read. I think what made it more quirky to me was the Jewish jargon mixed in between the magical world. I haven't read anything like it. It made religion a cool part of the story line. I am reading her new series and it is just as fabulous as this one.

Move over Charley Davidson, Nava Katz is in the house and kicking demon a$$! Nava is back and fighting her greatest battle. Luckily she’s got some help from her friends. I am so in love with this series and so sad to see it go, but it went out with a bang. Or a burn! I’d give this 10 stars if I could! 5 measly stars will have to do. Fantastic as always, Ms. Wilde.

I love Nava Katz and all the people who inhabit her world. I even love Drio, although I want to smack him in the back of the head half the time when I am reading about him. Thank you to Deborah Wilde for writing this series the heroine is a snarky, imperfect, badass. She gets herself into and out of trouble so often and with such humor that it makes for an hilarious, emotional, and action packed ride. This book and the other five in the Unlikeable Demon Hunter series are a must-read.
