good functional product, 11 piece set not made in the USA

Just purchased this set and so far so good functionality wise. Cleans easy, cooks fine.

The 11 Piece set is ***NOT*** Made in the USA although the company markets itself that the bulk of their products are made in Ohio. Part of the reason I bought this set was because their products are supposedly/allegedly still made in the US.

I wouldn't be as annoyed if they came out and directly said "Yes these are made in China" but they are very secretive about it. If you directly ask a customer support question, they give you a very shifty, not-directly-informative-circumvents-around-an-answer-to-the question kind of answer you'd get from a politician. (Just look at the Amazon Q&A section and you'll see what I mean). I just wish they'd be honest and upfront about it.

Again -- production seems functionally good and well made in the brief time I've owned it. Fingers crossed that it lasts.

I've owned Caphelon hard anozided pots/pans for the last 13 years. I absolutely love them, cannot kill them. You can cut directly in them. The only downfall was they were not dishwasher safe. Anyway, I thought I'd treat myself to a new, expensive set and expect them to last another 10 years. I received and they look beautiful..I upacked and threw away the packaging!!!!! Big mistake. The first time I cooked, I went to take the top off and burned by hand. Could not believe the handle gets too hot to touch. Who would design a pot top that you cannot remove without a mitt? AND, I cut a piece of chicken in the pot and scratched it up. Very, very disappointing. Apparently they don't make the model I formally owned but these pots are definitely not worth the money. Do Not Buy, Too expensive for this poor quality.

These were a bit of a splurge purchase after a rough night of cooking using our old pots and pans.. Lets just say we had gotten tired of the lack of even heat and the limitations presented by the rachel ray and paula deen style pots and pans sets.

We got these a week or so later and its made cooking fun again. Excellent build quality, great heat retention (they behave very similarly to cast iron in that way) and great nonstick surface as well. Even if they only last 5 years I think the value is there, but I think there will be some decent longer ty to it as well.

These pans are awesome. Heat distribution is great and nothing sticks to them. All pans are easy to clean when still warm, but note that food will stick to it after it has completely cooled. Not a problem though, a quick soak in the sink wipes everything off easily. I got into the habit of cleaning it a few minutes after taking them off the heat since it's much easier to clean at that time with a soft wipe.

I should have upgraded to Calphalon years ago. The handles are stylish and they look good at a distance and while using. Great set.

I just received my set this weekend and they're exactly as advertised! This is a heavy duty set and and the non-stick is excellent so far and easy to clean. The set is also visually appealing, which was important to me because they hang on my kitchen wall. I was a little worried because I opted to get a returned set for $100 less and the only issue was a crumpled corner of the box, but no damage to the set at all.

Day one and I already love them. We just returned a larger set (diff brand) for about the same price. This set is all you need in my opinion. It’s heavy in a good way, nonstick, well made, and so far the handles have not gotten to hot. I will try to update this review after some time.
