Just got delivered today...I’m VERY picky and I’m definitely impressed so far! At this price you get way more then you would expect hands down! Bluetooth set up took a few tries for my iPhone to detect the speaker, but def no big deal. Right now it’s after 12AM and I have the volume down to 15 (with bass boost off) so the bass doesn’t disturb my neighbors that live under me. The speaker has 6 different equalizer effects (Jazz, rock, funk etc.) Then there’s the bass boost feature...WHAT!! When this feature is enabled, you can’t use the equalizer effects, but tbh, you seriously don’t need them when bass is boost on. When bass boost is enabled, both the bass and volume are increased drastically. You do kinda get that “too much bass sound” if you turn the volume up to max which is 40 with the bass boost on, but you also need to make sure you adjust the volume on whatever device you have connected to the speaker to even out the sound. It’s got 7 different LED light effect patterns which make it that much better! I tried a plug in mic and did karaoke with my daughter too. She loved it and the echoing effect is even better! Mic worked good besides a squeaking interference noise if the mic got really close to the speaker. But I’ve seen this with a sh*t load of microphones/speaker setups. Just lower the mic volume if you wanna put the mic close to the speaker. The only thing I couldn’t figure out at 1st was how to read the battery level. But eventually I figured out if you hold the power button for about 2 seconds (not fully explained in the manual) you’ll see the battery level displayed with 1-4 bars. Radio works good too. Side note: wire antenna needs to be extended enough to get best reception (I tied a small loop at the end of the wire to loosely hang on a thumbtack placed high enough in the wall for clear reception). Overall I highly recommended this speaker, you can’t go wrong with price and sound quality! Again I’m very very picky with speaker quality and sound and if I’m sold you’ll probably be too! If anything changes please believe I’ll absolutely be updating this positive review since I seldom take time to write very many reviews anyway!
