I received my Spotted Zebra outfits and threw them in the wash (as I do with all my daughters clothes before she wears them).
Everything was true to size on first glance and after washing it, the same. Everything fits her perfect. She's a true 3T in pants. And in between a 2T & 3T for tops.
Love these outfits for my daughter! Love how they mix and match and are both playful and cute while very functional and affordable.
Perfect outfits for everyday wear for daycare and being the active toddler that she is!

Edit: They are no longer great as play clothes. All of the collars have unraveled and the shirts wont unwrinkle except with the use of an iron.

These are great play clothes but they do have a tendency to wrinkle and become stretched at the collar. I like the coordinating leggings that you can purchase to make numerous sets. They run a tad small as well.

After first wash in cold water the neckline on all the zebra brand shirts are now out of shape. Bacon looking. Wavy. They also shrank so much that a 2t is more like a 12 mo. Never buy again.

These aren't top of the line, but they certainly do the job for the price point as a basic staple. I haven't, as of yet, had any problem with seam work or stitching failing and the fabric has held up to daycare and in house use - they've laundered well and haven't lost their shape even with a preschooler being kind of rough and stretching them more than needed in dressing/undressing. material seems pretty standard weight for a kids line, nice middle ground between soft and thin and falling apart and too thick to be comfortable layered under winter coats. Graphics have lasted and still look nice a month or so later, a plus for sure, but I line dry my clothes so someone using a dryer may not have the same experience. Liked them enough I ordered another set in the next size range.

I'll stick with Carters/Oshkosh. The fabric is so thin that the collar rolls like a cheap undershirt and the leggings (which I also purchased separately) stretch out and look baggy/sloppy. Not to mention the fabric is so thin it's see through. My mom asked if they were pajamas the first time she saw them on the kids...that should tell you something!

My almost 5 year old I guess is too tall?

So I am not happy because first of all all the shirts are different styles. The rainbow shirt was about an inch shorter than the other three, the shirt with stars is way too short in the arms, and the tunic style (2 solid colored tops) seem small. Then it all shrunk when washed so basically the shirts are useless. I really like that the brand offers cotton clothing but really the details on what I bought need to be more specific (2 of the shirts were tunic style: longer in back). My daughter is a regular sized kid she wears an extra small to small in all clothes bought at big box stores but in this brand everything runs small. Most parents want things running big, if anything, so layering can be an option or kids can grow into them but not this brand. Definitely a disappointment and will not buy Spotted Zebra tops again.

of the four t-shirts , only one was of the right size and it fitted nicely. Of the rest three , two were of the strange tight fitting on the chest , leaving the shoulder area baggy . The fourth was a size bigger . One star is only for the one fitting t-shirt. Since i used the first tshirt for my daughter , having no idea that the other three were of bizarre fitting , i could not return the item . Please check all the tshirts for their size and fitting .

A year has passed since my previous review and that 9 year old is 10 when once again i needed long sleeve shirts. I bought these again and am so happy with them. This brand is fantastic.

I really like these t-shirts and am so happy with the sizing. My 9 year is growing like a vine. I got her these in a 10/12 and although so many things that were 10s were small in her closet these specific shirts have a little growing room. They are not baggy nor super tight but instead they are comfy and so cute. They are long and I think after washing will still be great. I look forward to shopping in this store when the next time comes.

We love this brand... awesome shirts, great feel, great colors, great designs, but I personally feel the sizing is a little bit off. My daughter is an average 9yo and I never would consider her an XL but I ordered her XL and it's on the verge of too tight. She is 4' 5" tall, 72lbs., slender build, but not skinny and these shirts may...may.... get us through the winter. It's likely these will not fit her in a few months. Typically, I buy her clothes with a bit of room to grow, but these have none. I would have preferred XXL but I just didn't think that is her real size. The label is XL(12).
