Go for the 9/16 XL! 2 Times printing

We recently replaced our laser printer with this inkjet. I was impressed with the color quality. Much better than the last inkjet I had. We use a lot of ink with six people printing in our home and this 1500 page ink cartridge really makes a big difference!

Do Not Use This In Your HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 Series Printer

There are 3 Black Cartridges that you can use in this Printer; the 910 (which it came with), the 910XL and the 916XL, which has the most capacity of the three. When the original 910 that it came with ran out, I replaced it with the 916XL which came as a package with the other 3 910 color cartridges. Even though the machine recognized the 916XL, it didn't work. I did the clean and align the Printhead and it made no difference. All in all, I wasted a few hours on trying to get it to work. (And I couldn't come up with a number to even call HP). Eventually, I went to Staples to buy and try another cartridge. As they didn't have any of the 916XL, I ended up with the 910XL. (Which as it turned out, is the same physical size as the 916). Since a little over a month has gone by since I got my printer with extra cartridges, I can't return it to Amazon for credit. (And I can't find a number on them either).

Barely moved the orange stopper and ink started pouring out. Thankfully it was over my printer paper and was able to run to the kitchen sink without it getting on the floor. I hope Amazon enjoys the return of the exploded ink in a ziplock bag as I’m unable to be refunded until they receive the mess of a product back. I recommend opening ink over a garbage pail or sink as a precaution and to avoid a potential disastrous mess!

The product prints as if its out of ink. I actually had to put the old one in to print out the rest of my document. Tried every setting and even though it shows full - it will not dispense ink. WORSE - Amazon will not replace and I've been bee dealing with HP support - what a joke and a waste of my time. This and my 6-mo old printer is going in the garbage.

Have to clean print heads multiple times just for black every other day. Not a joke. It is quicker to for my kids to go to their friend's house and print it then wait for the cleanings to fix it. Wasting all my ink which was $113 for the set of 4. HP what happened over price the ink and make us go through it quicker trying to fix problems? The other three colors are not having any issue.
