How customer reviews and ratings work

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.

To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

4.0 out of 5 starsOne story for each state in the US.

Some stories are better than others of course, but overall it does the job of keeping me entertained for short periods in between tasks at work. Some of the stories really leave you wondering even after you've finished reading it. I like stories like that. Worth a read or two.

3.0 out of 5 starsNot bad but not good either

The grammatical and spelling errors would be easily forgiven and blatantly ignored like always..Or at least what i percieved to be errors. If my desensitized and spoiled butt didn't expect more out of these stories than the standard Creepypasta fluff we all know and love. My bad.

4.0 out of 5 stars This is a real thriller

I really enjoyed this book. It was riveting and exciting. A few of these stories I have heard or read over the years and it's really hard to say whether or not they are true or just the product of someone's over stimulating imagination but, nonetheless I really enjoyed it. I gave this book a 4 star rating because it captured my attention and it was very hard to put down. I love ghost stories and I would definitely recommend this book. I believe anything is possible but I'm not so sure I'll be to eager to travel alone in the near future, especially at night on long stretches of highways.

5.0 out of 5 stars Worst road trip ever

Seriously, if you never want to go on a road trip, read this book.

When I saw there was an anthology with SF Barlkey, Scott Savino, Tobias Wade, Nick Botic, Kyle Harrison, Blair Daniels, Michael Squid, and so many other talented authors -- I preordered this before I even read the description.

The icing on the cake was seeing that KH did New Hampshire (my home state). But NH really isn't that bad, I swear. It's only, like, half that bad. Really though, that story creeped the hell out of me. Don't plan to drive at night for a week or so after reading this book.

As awesome as the above-mentioned writers are, the thing I love about anthologies is discovering new authors. This time, I was blown away by Miranda Hernandez's contribution for Wyoming. Beautiful prose and devastating plot line. The end will definitely leave you with chills.

Another quick note: the grammar, formatting, and editing for this anthology was pristine. Normally you'd expect a few typos and quirky design issues, but everything here felt very professional. Great work, everyone!

4.0 out of 5 stars Needs an Editor

I did enjoy the stories, especially the one about the bus, but the book is full of typos and grammatical errors. Commas and semi-colors side by side, first words in a new sentence not capitalized, words such as "I" not capitalized, wrong words ("way" instead of "was"), last names not capitalized. It made for a distracting read but it was a great anthology otherwise.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good collection.

The majority of the stories were enjoyable, a few stood out as really well done to me, and there was a minimum of lame stories.
There were some grammatical errors peppered throughout.
All in all, I'd recommend this collection as a decent time sink.

2.0 out of 5 stars Horribly Edited Anthology!

I have the paperback version of the book, and trust me, all the errors are there. This is one of the most poorly edited set of stories I’ve seen. A very few good tales; many seemed like the author just ran out of material and gave up or hurriedly slapped an ending on to be finished. Several stories were out and out ‘THAT’S the actual ending?!’ Several stories were very similar to one another and a couple of them, I will swear came from tales the author had seen on either ‘The Twilight Zone’ or ‘Tales From the Darkside’, though they’re not 100% the same, but enough like them that it feels almost like plagiarism.

I was pulled out of a story with every grammatical error, capitalization error, spacing error, spelling error, and/or font change. The very few tales that are good are the ones that either have no errors or few errors. I was surprised that so many authors confused ‘its’ and ‘it’s’. One other spelling error that really stood out to me was ‘ammature’ for ‘amateur’.

Overall disappointed in this collection. They are extremely quick reads, but not really worth the time. The two stars are for the tales I enjoyed.

No award winners here, but good enough for quick hammock reads when you don't have alot of time to start a novel.
