Top critical review
The book is a disapointment for anyone with even a rudimentary understanding of the subject.

The book was a complete disappointment. First of all, Brian Kilmeade's writing ability ranks about a 2-3 on a scale of !0. More importantly, though I am far from an expert on Alamo history, the book contained almost nothing I didn't already know about the historic event itself and all the surrounding circumstances both before and following the fateful day. I will say that for anyone who knows little about the Alamo, the book would be informative. As for myself, I probably won't be interested in any of Kilmeade's future writing.
