This wasn't a really satisfying conclusion to a series. The battle scene that we build up to at the end was really lack luster with breaks in the battle that made no sense, cut away that left us without story necessary details, large plot holes, like um what was happening with all the people in the town during/after the battle?? Each of the one on one "epic" show downs with the ever increasingly worse baddies was a walk in the park taking a page or two, I mean, these people have hunted you across six books, it should take at least a chapter to dispose of each of one them or you should fight them together in one epic show down until all that remains is the big bad and the fmc. The deal struck at the end was horrible negotiating and not in writing, that is totally not going to be upheld, Gray should have gotten a lawyer, and spoiler, unless I totally missed something Liam is still a human at the end of the book, so, you know, he could die at like any moment and is not going to be in the harem for all eternity, Gray's got him for like 60 years at best, and I'm sorry, but that is just totally unacceptable. I kept waiting for the epilogue where Gray was called before the far royalty in their court, they thanked her for fixing their mess, recognized her fae heritage, and saidnoh yeah because of who you are Sebastian never had rights to your soul anyways but nice deal (even though it was a sloppy deal) oh and someone should probably tell you that finding your harem made you stronger and all your guys immortal, wanna serve on our counsel? Gray: what?sweet, on the guys, not the counsel thing, yeah, no thanks, I don't think the guys and I are really politicians, at least not yet, we want to just be young right now you know, small town small coven the only death is the one I call Liam. And the fae are like oh yeah,
we get it, this did kinda get thrown in your lap. Ok, k.i. t. But this isn't what happens.
Also, they seem to have sex at just really off times in the story, oh and, if you have taken over one of your boyfriends' sister's houses and filled it with your army of witches and shifters you don't kick everyone out of the common space so you can have sex with one of your boyfriends, that is just rude.
