Bump On The Road To Love
Reviewed in the United States on February 27, 2019
My, my. Been waiting on this family to return and I wasn't disappointed. That Blackstone Family is something else! Lies, deceit, and lack of communication and trust, appear to be major themes in this story.
What do you do when you have brother's who continually cause havoc in your life? How do you handle the pressure? Will you come out on top? Keeping business and personal life separate is a good thing, when your businesses' are bound to cross. ways. This was another cause for the drama in the life of Kurt and Candy. At first, I didn't feel the chemistry between Kurt and Candy, but later, their love for each other became clearer.
Candy, was another whole story, working my nerves. Being the baby of the family, she had a lot to contend with, especially meddling brothers. She did it her way and was able to give love another shot, with all the pressure from the brothers, and the support of her sisters-in-law, once they were privy to information. However, I thought that she didn't work as hard as Kurt, in regards to her marriage. She almost blew it, by not being honest with Kurt, her husband. She was a little fickle at times, not knowing which direction she wanted to take this thing.
Kurt, on the other hand, was quite the alpha, and fought for Candy, regardless of the obstacles that continued to block progress. I was happy to see that he stood up to Candy's family and stopped them from any further interference in his and Candy's life. He was kind, gentle, loyal, and patient. I felt he worked harder than Candy on their marriage.
The end result is what matters, and Kurt definitely proved that he loved his wife and Candy proved likewise.
